Hike directly from our house into the fascinating mountain world of the Merano region. Walk around the entire Meran basin along the Meraner Waalrunde, follow the Haflinger path to St. Kathrein church or explore the Meran2000 hiking area. The famous gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle can be reached either on foot in about 30 minutes or by car in about 5 minutes. Stroll through the arcades of the spa town of Merano (approx. 10 minutes by car), stroll along the promenade or immerse yourself in the thermal baths of Merano.
In winter, unpack your skis and experience fun on the slopes in various skiing areas (Meran2000 cable car can be reached in approx. 2 minutes by car), explore natural ski touring routes, whizz down alpine paths on a toboggan or dance across the ice on ice skates. At Christmas time, let yourself be put into Christmas mood by the Advent-season sounds and sweet scents at the Christmas markets.
